Grinning Graphics has completely modernised our branding and website for our quality assurance standard, Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing.
Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing are a not-for-profit organisation providing industry standard accreditation to organisations delivering health and wellbeing services in West Yorkshire. Working in partnership with health commissioning body Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), they ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and continual improvement, and aim to build trust with commissioners, funders, and service users.
To strengthen their presence and improve digital experience for their visitors, Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing needed a modern, user-friendly, and accessible website to support their mission, and a strong, modern brand identity to boost their credibility and impact. They wanted a design that would communicate trust and professionalism, and that would engage healthcare providers, commissioners, and community organisations. They also wanted ongoing website maintenance support for the new site.
Our goal was to create a cohesive, professional, and approachable brand identity that would enhance Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing’s reputation and build trust with commissioners and service users. We also aimed to develop a user-friendly website design that would implement their new brand identity and support their mission, while also boosting accessibility standards.
We created a professional, user-friendly, and accessible website that effectively showcases their accreditation framework while making it easy for organizations to learn, apply, and engage. The website follows a logical, well-structured layout, allowing users to find key information quickly and efficiently. The main navigation menu is clearly labelled, ensuring intuitive navigation and a seamless browsing experience. Strategic call-to-action placements guide users towards key actions, including learning about accreditations and exploring membership benefits.
The website is fully responsive, ensuring a smooth experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop. As many users access websites via mobile devices, this ensures greater accessibility and engagement. The use of sections, headings, and white space improves readability and ensures key messages stand out without overwhelming visitors. The website design aligns consistently with Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing’s brand identity, reinforcing trust and professionalism.
The website’s content is structured to educate, build trust, and encourage action, with clear, concise messaging focused on addressing key audiences. The site also features an accessibility tool to assist diverse users. The tool enables users to easily adjust font sizes, change fonts, invert colours, and switch to keyboard navigation, enabling them to use the site more easily if they have visual or other impairments.
In balancing strong branding, intuitive user experience, and strategic content, we created a visually appealing, professional and user-friendly website that strengthens Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing’s credibility and impact. The site features enhanced accessibility and mobile experience for a wider audience reach, and provides a seamless journey for users, from learning about accreditation to taking action.
We understood that a professional brand identity was key to reinforcing Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing’s authority in the sector. Our approach focused on creating a modern, streamlined logo that embodies trust, professionalism, and inclusivity while aligning with the healthcare and wellbeing sector. The logo is clean, symmetrical, and well-proportioned, conveying stability and trustworthiness, and features circular design elements that suggest unity, collaboration, and inclusivity, reflecting the interconnected nature of the healthcare and wellbeing sector. The initials “Q” and “4” are subtly incorporated into the design, reinforcing the organisations name in a visually distinctive way, making the logo easy to recognise and remember.
We selected a colour palette to align with the values and mission of Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing. Deep blue, representing trust and professionalism, and a vibrant green, symbolising growth and wellbeing. Green is linked to health and nature, reinforcing the brand’s focus on improving health services. We also selected white accents, used for clarity, to produce a fresh and modern feel while enhancing readability. The combination of these colours creates a balanced and harmonious visual identity that is welcoming and authoritative.
The font selection focused on clarity and accessibility. We chose a clean, modern, sans-serif font to ensure the brand looks contemporary and professional, and is also easy to read across different formats. A strong logo must be effective at any size and across all mediums. We designed the Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing logo to be highly scalable, clear and legible on both small screens and large signage, and adaptable for different backgrounds, with colour variations to allow the logo to work on both light and dark backgrounds.
A well-maintained website is essential for ensuring security, performance, and long-term success.
